Thrust Ball Bearings include single and double direction thrust ball bearings. Both of them are separable so that mounting is simple.
(1) Single direction thrust ball bearings can accommodate axial loads in one direction and thus locate a shaft axially in one direction. They must not be subjected to any radial load. The item Nos are 53000 series, 53000U series, 51000 series;
(2) Double direction thrust ball bearings can accommodate axial loads acting in both directions and can thus serve to axially locate a shaft in both directions. They must not be subjected to radial load. The item Nos are 52000 series, 54000 series, 54000U series.
